Leighton Owens is based in Neath, West Glamorgan, which to those of you outside of the UK is in the beautiful country of Wales.

By day, Leighton works in a steel works in Port Talbot.

He is married and has two children and his hobbies, along side his passion for Java Sparrows, are Pike Fishing, Sea Fishing and following the Welsh national sport.......Rugby!!

Leighton caught the Java Sparrow bug in September last year and has built up quite a collection of the different coloured Java's that are currently available.

His Java collection includes, White, Pastel, Pied, Opal Isabel, Fawn
Cream, Silver and Normal.

Feeding.

Leighton feeds his birds with a good quality Foreign Finch Mix to which he adds Paddy Rice. He then soaks the seed mix in Cod Liver Oil.
His birds are also offered egg food prior to, and during the breeding season.

Water

Currently Leighton supply's fresh clean water to his birds with no additives although he intends to add Garlic to the water in the near future.
